I think this beard care kit is a good "White Elephant" gift... but not really one I would gift to close friends or family. The tools are low quality, with the scissors not lining up well, the brush sheds like crazy, and the picks are brittle. I don't have any complaint about the balm, oil and wash, but they're nothing special. Maybe to someone who is JUST now starting to think about trying a bunch of different beard accessories I guess... but with the tools being next to worthless, I think it's better to spend more on better quality.

About the razor comb... as a stylist, I took it out, unless you know what you're doing with it it's gonna be a problem. And as far as thinning pets' hair with it, NEVER THIN CATS' HAIR... I had a client that did that and the cat ended up with a blockage from licking the loose hair! Now the kit, a moderately sized box, has a lot in it but the wash in particular isn't a very long lasting bottle. The wash is a low-lather type, rinses well leaving moisture but not overly heavy. The oil isn't overly greasy or oily, kind of a medium level glide. The balm is nice, also not very greasy compared to some. Overall nice scent, not overpowering, so it wouldn't compete with cologne etc. Tools are average. Nice giftable kit, average price. 🧔🧔🧔🧔

This is a great little beard set. Would make a great Christmas gift! It has Beard Wash, Beard Balm, Beard Oil, a wood comb, a brush (not pictured), another comb, 2 scissors, and a little storage bag. The balm doesn’t have much of a scent. The oil and wash have a scent, not too strong. My son has been using it and he is happy with it!
